Over the last week MillerSmiles has received many scams from the public and through its HoneyTrap scam detection system. Below we provide an analysis of the scams we have received for the week of 28th June 2014 to 5th July 2014


During the week we reported a total of 15 phishing scams

14 or 93% of these scams linked to websites that were still online and live, ready to capture personal data, when we reported them

0.34% DEAR HALIFAX CUSTOMER, alleged sender Halifax reported 29th June 2014

0.34% UPDATE MISSING INFORMATION alleged sender Amazon Security Team reported 30th June 2014

0.34% NatWest YourPoints Online alleged sender Natwest reported 1st July 2014

0.33% International Monetary Fund(IMF) alleged sender IMF reported 29th June 2014
