Over the last week MillerSmiles has received many scams from the public and through its HoneyTrap scam detection system. Below we provide an analysis of the scams we have received for the week of 18th October 2014 to 25th October 2014


During the week we reported a total of 17 phishing scams

14 or 82% of these scams linked to websites that were still online and live, ready to capture personal data, when we reported them

  • 0.56% YOU HAVE ONE SECURITY MESSAGE FROM NATWEST CREDITCARD alleged sender NatWest CreditCard reported 19th October 2014

  • 0.49% BT Account alleged sender BT reported 20th October 2014

  • 0.47% BT Account alleged sender BT reported 18th October 2014
