MillerSmiles provides its weekly phishing analysis for the week of 3rd December 2016 to 10th December 2016

Over the last week MillerSmiles has received many scams from the public and through its HoneyTrap scam detection system. Below we provide an analysis of the scams we have received for the week of 3rd December 2016 to 10th December 2016


During the week we reported a total of 21 phishing scams

19 or 90% of these scams linked to websites that were still online and live, ready to capture personal data, when we reported them

  • 0.29% A person seems to have marked your own account alleged sender AOL reported 6th December 2016

  • 0.27% Someone has now marked your current profile page alleged sender AOL reported 7th December 2016

  • 0.27% Halle65 has placed a new friend request alleged sender AOL reported 7th December 2016

  • 0.26% Account Notification ! alleged sender Support Team reported 4th December 2016

  • 0.26% A woman has now marked your current profile alleged sender AOL reported 7th December 2016

  • 0.25% New Security Alert alleged sender Chase online reported 8th December 2016

  • 0.25% A girl has already tagged your current profile alleged sender AOL reported 7th December 2016

  • 0.24% Somebody seems to have marked your current account alleged sender AOL reported 8th December 2016
