Over the last week MillerSmiles has received many scams from the public and through its HoneyTrap scam detection system. Below we provide an analysis of the scams we have received for the week of 17th December 2016 to 24th December 2016


During the week we reported a total of 14 phishing scams

12 or 86% of these scams linked to websites that were still online and live, ready to capture personal data, when we reported them

  • 0.25% Please update your Account Information alleged sender Apple reported 17th December 2016

  • 0.25% Finally 100% Binary Autopilot robot [DOWNLOAD LINK for mpsv@live.com] alleged sender Paul Davis reported 21st December 2016

  • 0.22% YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT HAS BEEN LIMITED. alleged sender PayPal reported 19th December 2016
