MillerSmiles provides its weekly phishing analysis for the week of 24th June 2017 to 1st July 2017

Over the last week MillerSmiles has received many scams from the public and through its HoneyTrap scam detection system. Below we provide an analysis of the scams we have received for the week of 24th June 2017 to 1st July 2017


During the week we reported a total of 5 phishing scams

3 or 60% of these scams linked to websites that were still online and live, ready to capture personal data, when we reported them

  • 0.59% Unusual activity detected In Your Chase Account alleged sender Chase.com reported 29th June 2017

  • 0.52% YOUR PAYMENT NOTIFICATION alleged sender UNITED BANK OF AFRICA UBA reported 24th June 2017

  • 0.45% Tesco Bank Alert - Your Account alleged sender Tesco reported 26th June 2017

  • 0.42% Bank of America Alert: Unusual Account Activity alleged sender Bank of America reported 26th June 2017
