Microsoft is due to release its new anti-phishing tool which has been in development to the public soon.
The tool is programmed to fight identity theft attacks and will likely be incorporated in its new Internet Explorer 7 browser on release. Good news for users of existing versions of Microsoft's popular browser though - the company plans to release an update for previous IE releases which will allow surfers to experience similar anti-phishing security measures with their versions.
The new anti-phishing security program can allegedly detect scripts which lure surfers into revealing sensitive personal information by posing as mainstream online banking websites. The tool refers to a Microsoft-run database of known phishing sites to determine scams.
